His articles on property and land use issues have appeared in a number of leading law journals, including the University of Chicago Law Review and the Cornell Law Review. Professor Sprankling began his legal career with Miller, Starr & Regalia, one of the nation’s largest property law firms. He practiced there for 14 years, ultimately serving as its managing partner. After teaching at Hastings College of the Law and Stanford Law School, he joined the Pacific McGeorge faculty in 1992.
